Where graphics are born
The Chyron Operator is the person responsible for the graphics on the show. They put in all of the name keys and make the full page boards for the shows. This job may just look like typing in a few names in on a photoshop like program but it is one of the most complicated positions in the field of television. It is so complicated their are school and course to take to get people familiar with the entire program. The reason for this is that the Duet program that runs on the Chyron machine is so complicated that it takes a separate school to teach you how to use all of its features. But the work is worth the rewards because people who master the program are more than well paid in the industry
