The tape operators are the men and women behind the scenes who are even further behind the scenes. their job is located in master control where all the tape decks are and the basic of what their job pertains to is to make sure that every tape is in the right tape deck for the show. they have to coordinate every tape with two decks used for the show and listen to what everyone says in case a story is dropped and the tape order needs to be changed accordingly. If the Tape Operator does not pay any attention at all to what everyone is doing for the show then they fall behind and causes more than enough problems for the show even if only one tape is out of order or not in the right place it causes the whole show to be out of order so in no words is this an easy or unimportant job.
