The Still store Machine in some cases is either your best friend or one of your worst enemies when it comes creating a great show. the still store allows there to be another source of media in the show, and it frees up space in the Chyron. So instead of putting every piece of graphics on the Chyron machine you can put photoshop documents and JPEGS on the still store to make things easier and spread out the work during the show. But just like any other piece of technological equipment one tiny little problem can turn into a massive catastrophe with no time to spare before a show so it does pay for when operating the still store to know how it works and what is compatible with the software and to know how to use photoshop to make the pictures on still store look as good as possible.
